Microsoft Research WhiteFiService
A research platform to plan your white space network!

WhiteFiService has been developed as part of the KNOWS project at Microsoft Research. The key members involved are:

Several people at Microsoft, Harvard and other academic universities have been using the WhiteFiService for their research projects. Omid Fatemieh and Carl Gunter at UIUC are using this service to solve security issues when using collaborative sensing in white space networks, Ryan Guerra and Ed Knightly at Rice University have been using the web service to look at issues around planning of white space networks, and Hariharan Rahul at MIT is using the web service to solve coexistence problems in white space networks. Finally, we are actively working with Professor Minghua Chen and his student, Lichao Yan, at CUHK on extending the database to operate in Hong Kong.
